Urban Inferno was a custom level made for the Half-Life 2 mod Coterminus. Set during the City 17 uprising and taking cues from early pre-release material of the game, Urban Inferno was a short and chaotic battle sequence in which the player had to clear two blocks full of Combine forces and bypass gates to progress.
As a project Urban Inferno was devised as a means of learning the Source Engine and how to design gameplay for it.
